About Nick Azzarito

A native New Yorker, Nick Azzarito started his extensive career in the food business at age 13. Nick’s first opportunity to learn and grow his culinary career was at a Long Island staple, the neighborhood pizza parlor. After moving to Georgia later in his teens, Nick’s parents requested his help opening and managing a new concept, Happen Pappens Restaurant, in the Perimeter Mall.

Nick has worked in many unique restaurant and catering concepts since his humble start; Nick’s on Lanier at the Bald Ridge Marina, Hovan Gourmet in the Perimeter Mall and Harbour Club Resort on Lake Oconee are just a few. The actual beginning of The Ridge Bistro was as a corporate meal provider and delivery service in an office building on Mansell Road in Roswell. To accomodate requests for more elaborate catering, Nick realized he needed more space and moved The Ridge Bistro to its current location on Alpharetta Highway in Alpharetta.

Nick has worn many hats over the past 37 years in the food business. He has tossed pizzas, served as a general manager, oversaw restaurant franchise expansion up and down the East Coast, consulted to improve operations and development, and has catered many grand corporate and intimate social events. His close engagement in all of these areas of the restaurant business allows Nick to understand his clients and their needs. Nick is dedicated to the complete satisfaction of each client and their guests.
